Crawler Innovations is pleased to offer a 1.7" single stage, closed cell, machined tire foam insert, for the 1:14 RC Semi Trucks and Trailers.

Crawler Innovations and Ayala Metal Works have been heavily involved with the world of RC Semi trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment for several years now. In that time we have built many Tamiya semi trucks and trailers for ourselves and customers. Gavin and I learned early on how important the tire foam insert is to support the weight that these heavy haulers can tow.

This Deuce's Wild Single Stage Tire Foam Insert was developed for use in the RC4WD Falken CI-627 Semi Truck tire; RC4WD P/N Z-T0039. The rubber compound for this tire is good quality and has an off road tread pattern. We have many trucks with the tire and foam insert combo. As a matter of fact, we have used this tire and foam combo in one of our Tamiya Mercedes semi trucks that has received mutiple podium finishes by mutilple drivers at the Hobbytown Waco Texas semi truck get togethers and driving competitions. We know first hand how well this works and recommend this combo to you.

It is recommended to use Bob Smith Industries brand, Medium, Gap Filling, CA Tire Glue, P/N BSI-107, to glue the rubber tire to the aluminum or plastic semi truck rim.
