Deuce's Wild Dual Stage 2.9" Standard Foam Pair (2)

Crawler Innovations is out with another first. Introducing our dual stage closed cell foam pair. This new product features our dense car stand foam, cut and shaped into the inner foam. This dense inner, offers superior steering response, and a firm foundation for the second stage. The second stage is our standard gray foam. Combined this pairing is 100% Water Proof.

CWR-3206 was designed for use in the Axial SCX6 tires but will fit many other brands of tires as long as they are similar in height and width.

These foams are much firmer than anything available on the market. They do not fold over under load whether it's high speed, heavy weight, or simply turning. These foams rely on a small air gap between the foam and tire. This loose area allows for the tire to obtain traction, while the foam supports the tire.

Approximate tire foam insert size: 6.1875" Height x 1.750" Width (Remember that foam goes inside the tire and one must subtract lug and carcass thickness, plus any reinforcing from the overall tire height.)

The inner foam width is 1.750" and is machined for the 1.625" width SCX6 bead lock wheels.

The "Comp Cut" inner has three grooves machined into the area where the outer and inner meet. The machined grooves allow for the outer foam to collapse into them resulting in a responsive tire. The Comp Cut also keeps the Outer aligned with the inner.

The outer foam width is 1.750" and it is comp cut to allow for tire conformation.

The Heavy Weight product line is for heavy rc crawlers and speed applications. They provide superior side hill support and improved steering response.

This is version 1 of SCX6 foams from Crawler Innovations. We are currently re-machining existing inventory to fit the SCX6 bead lock. Crawler Innovations is testing the market to see if the customer demand will justify new product designs. As of the posting of this description, roughly 7 tires are available for the SCX6. Crawler Innovations has three possible tire foam inserts for these. One 2.9 Double Deuce, and Two 2.9 Deuce's Wild. If you are straight rock crawling, the CWR-1603 Double Deuce work best. These are only offered with a Firm Outer due to the heavy weight of the SCX6. If you are trail riding, running in the water, riding on your SCX6, pulling giant loads with your SCX6, the Deuce's Wild versions are better suited. CWR-3206 is shorter in height and does not stretch the Axial tire, leaving a slight air gap between the tire foam insert and the tire so the tire will conform. CWR-3207 is taller and will stretch the tire, leaving no air gap. If you are riding on your scx6, or pulling very heavy loads, CWR-3207 is for you.
