Crawler Innovations has been in business since 2009 supplying the RC surface genre with a wide range of tire foam inserts. Crawler Innovations was the first to combine closed cell and open cell foam into one package with our Double Deuce and Lil’ Nova product lines. After we'd perfected those systems, we turned our attention towards the faster paced rock racer, heavy scalers, and basher rc surface genres. The Deuce's Wild Foam line was created. Using only the firm inner material, while focusing on the machined size and shape of the foam. After years of development of the Deuce's Wild line in the RC surface genre, I began to wonder what other uses this technology could be used for. I knew that an aired down MTB tire rode smoother on trail, but was less responsive to rider input. I also knew that an aired down MTB tire can compromise the bike rim from a hard impact. CWR-3333 addresses these issues and more.

CWR-3333 is designed for use in 29" MTB bicycle tires. Specifically for 29 x 2.35" Tires with Tubeless Rims, tires and multi port presta valves. The purpose of this tire foam insert is to enhance the entire riding experience.

The benefits of CWR-3333 are;

1. Reduced rolling resistance; for example; riding over exposed tree roots without substantial tire compression; leaving a kicker ramp without the rear tire compressing under load;
2. Increased sidewall bite, for example; carrying higher speed through the berm without the tire folding under load;
3. Cushion bar shock, hard impacts and distribute the shock/load evenly through the wheel,
4. Prevent sidewall pinch flats or tire burping,
5. Allow the tire to be ridden without air pressure if absolutely necessary,
6. One foam insert weighs 5 ounces, or 145 grams,
7. Add a layer of protection for expensive carbon fiber rims,
8. The foam insert must be used with a no clog or multi port presta valve. The valve must have side ports because the tire foam insert is airtight and water proof. A standard single valve port will not work with this tire foam insert due to the foam sealing off the single port.
9. Use any brand of tire sealant you like, CWR-3333 has been tested and found to be impervious to them all,
10. This tire foam insert will not easily break down and will provide years of service,
11. With this tire foam insert, it is possible to use a softer compound tire because the Deuces Wild Foam will add the structure needed for the tire to hold its shape

In theory, the rider should be able to run high or low air pressure in the tire and never have to worry about a tire burp or pinch flat. The only way the tire should lose air is by a hole or gash, and even then it should maintain the ability to be ridden. The foam will not allow the tire tread to touch the rim ever.

This tire foam insert will fit many other brands of tires and rims, as long as they are similar in height and width. The tire foam insert can be custom shaped using a dremel with a sanding drum attachment.

This tire foam insert requires a tubeless air system and multi port presta valve. 

This tire foam insert rely on a small air gap between the foam and tire. This loose area allows for the tire to obtain traction, while the foam supports the tire.

In general, no extra tire sealant volume is required. Using dish soap for tire and foam installation is recommended.
