Crawler Innovations was the first to combine closed cell and open cell foam into one package with our Double Deuce and Lil’ Nova product lines. After we'd perfected those systems, we turned our attention towards the faster paced rock racer, heavy scalers, and basher genres. The Deuce's Wild Foam line was created. Using only the firm inner material, while focusing on the machined size and shape of the foam.
The Deuce's Wild Tuning Disc set consists of four closed cell foam discs. These discs are designed to add width to your foams inside the tire. Generally it is recommended to install one disc on the outside of all four foams inside the tires. The discs do not fold over under load whether it's high speed, heavy weight, or simply turning. The discs can easily be trimmed with scissors to reduce the O.D. or increase the I.D.
Approximate size: 4.50" O.D. x 2.125" I.D. x .250" Thickness

These can make any single stage perform well. Allowing improved side-hilling while maintaining the ability to conform to terrain.

These tuning foams are used on the outside of the standard open cell foam inserts to add turning stiffness.

These are a perfect way to address sidewall roll over and take up slack in wider wheels. Only could be better if they where offered with a smaller id holes he option of different firmness is also nice feature

The product is and does exactly what’s explained, trimmed them a bit to fit my tires and they work great! The customer service is awesome as well, took time out of his day to help someone who is new to the hobby!

I've been building crawlers (mostly comp shafties) for 4 years now and I've tried lots of different foams. Crawler Innovations Double Deuce foams have become a mainstay for optimum setup. The variety in size and density will accommodate any tire and truck weight.
I personally prefer the non-comp-cut inners in front so that I can glue the outer foams to them with Elmer's spray adhesive. This prevents the outers from sliding laterally and causing the tires to mushroom when sidehilling.
In most cases, you will need to cut or remove material form the inner and outer foams in order to ensure a good fit around the wheel and in the tire. Crawler Innovations foams are easy to modify.
I highly recommend these foams for comp crawling applications!

I use these for 1.9x 1.3 & 1.9 x 1.5 wide CNCCustomwheels. Fills the side walls nicely.

If you're for real about crawling and scale rigs, these are a must. I have 3 different rigs and they all have CI foams and discs. The stability while side hilling is unbelievable. These things make such a huge difference not just on side hills but it holds the tire in shape while the foams do their job. In my opinion, you cannot get the best out of your tires and foams without using these tuning discs. I keep coming back for more THEY WILL BE IN EVERY RIG I BUILD/BUY. Thank you Crawler Innovations.

These are great for filling out the width on wider tires. I used these with a set of Hyrax tires and interco super swampers combined with lil nova 2 stage foams. Both sets are now filled out width wise, no more empty space on the sides.
I did trim the diameter down a 1/4" so that this foam wouldn't be right up against the tire tread. I also placed them on the inner side of the tire as it looked better to me.
