These inserts feature a Competition Cut, closed cell inner foam, with a Medium conventional or open cell density outer foam. The closed cell inner foam is super dense, water proof, is not temperature sensitive and is extremely durable. The conventional outer foam is not temperature sensitive, but it is not water proof.
The "Comp Cut" inner has three grooves machined into the area where the outer and inner meet. The machined grooves allow for the outer foam to collapse into them resulting in a much more responsive tire.
The 4.25" is the Small Size inner in the Lil' Nova Dual Stage foam line and designed for 1.9 tires and heavier rc vehicles.

Very happy with the 4.25 dual stage foams in an old set of pitbull rockbeast . Much better fit than the 4.50. And thanks for the free samples.

I originally purchased the 1.9 x 4.75 foams and they where stuffed way to tight get any grip. So I ended running them without the outer foams till I purchased the 4.25's. While running one layer of 1/4oz. weights the 4.25's is a much better fit. Watch the YT video on sizing before ordering if you haven't already.

4.25 cc med front and 4.50 cc med rear wrapped with voodoo klr and mounted on gearhead aluminum wheels with standard hub weighted with beef patties makes for go anywhere scx10.2!

I got these foams for a set of 4.19" tall mickey Thompson Baja claws. I mounted them and ran them for the first time in a 10 hour endurance g6 I Hot Springs, arkansas... These foams made a huge difference in filling out the tires perfectly. They worked flawlessly on all the side hills we had to navigate and they provided the height I was looking for without making my tires look out of proportion. I use c.i. foams in all my tires, these were a used set I got, and had a homemade 3 stage foam setup in them from the previous owner.. I ran with those in them for a few runs and a scale comp. I have a feeling my performance at the next comp I do will improve a bit with the help of these foams..
