Crawler Innovations was the first to combine closed cell and open cell foam into one package. The Lil’ Nova Foams have been around since the beginning and are made from the best compounds available. The Lil’ Nova Dual Stage Foam design is for all high-performance applications where grip and traction are essential. Available in a variety of compounds and sizes, the Lil’ Nova Crawler Foams are the perfect addition for your new tires.

These inserts feature a Competition Cut, closed cell inner foam, with a Soft conventional or open cell density outer foam. The closed cell inner foam is super dense, water proof, is not temperature sensitive and is extremely durable. The conventional outer foam is not temperature sensitive, but it is not water proof.
The "Comp Cut" inner has three grooves machined into the area where the outer and inner meet. The machined grooves allow for the outer foam to collapse into them resulting in a much more responsive tire.
The 4.25" is the Small Size inner in the Lil' Nova Dual Stage foam line and designed for 1.9 tires and heavier rc vehicles.

It fit class 1 4.19 tire perfect. Even they provide second layer of foam to adjust softer or firm in tires.

I've used Crawler Innovations foams before but I recently got it right with the foams and tires and weight of the vehicle, as always they mounted easily and I'll use them again!

These were a great upgrade for my Gen 8. The duel stage foams really enhanced the trucks performace. I was able to make it through obstacles and hill climbs that just wasn't happening before. Tire conformity is great and the closed cell inner ring really helps prevent roll overs while side hilling.

I would never use any other foam!
They are the only foams on the market that actually do what they are meant to do.

Yeah I'm still running tire weights I originally ordered the 4.75 foams that were stuffed to tight for my 4.75 VooDoos . Went down to the 4.25 considering I'm running a strip of tire weights that adds a .25" and I run a light rig .
