Product Description
Crawler Innovations was the first to combine closed cell and open cell foam into one package. The Lil’ Nova Foams have been around since the beginning and are made from the best compounds available. The Lil’ Nova Dual Stage Foam design is for all high-performance applications where grip and traction are essential. Available in a variety of compounds and sizes, the Lil’ Nova Crawler Foams are the perfect addition for your new tires.

These inserts feature a Competition Cut, closed cell inner foam, with a Medium conventional or open cell density outer foam. The closed cell inner foam is super dense, water proof, is not temperature sensitive and is extremely durable. The conventional outer foam is not temperature sensitive, but it is not water proof.
The "Comp Cut" inner has three grooves machined into the area where the outer and inner meet. The machined grooves allow for the outer foam to collapse into them resulting in a much more responsive tire.
The 4.50" is the Middle Size inner in the Lil' Nova Dual Stage foam line and designed for 1.9 tires and heavier rc vehicles.

I'm using these on the rear of my class 2 rig, weighing in at 5lbs 8oz. I have the soft outers for the front. The support and performance of these foams is tremendous. Sidehilling is so much better now, compared to the competition's two stage foams I was using previously. I've tested these with Hyrax in predator compound and Krawler KX's in predator, both performed at their best with the CI foams. Use the foam calculator to help pick the best for your use case, you will be very, very pleased!

These foams will improve your truck noticeably! The firm middle ring keeps your tires semi stiff to hold pressure on the rocks and the outer allows the treads to flex and grab rock. Highly Recommend!

The medium comp cut lil’ nova foams work amazingly well on the rear of my 6.5lb comp rig. I pair them with soft comp cut dual stage foams in the front, together they perform and conform well to all terrain and sidehills much better than the Proline dual stage foams do but you must vent your tires to get proper and the best purpose out of these foams. I give them 5 stars

These foams are everything they say they are..they do great in mud and rocks both..no tire roll at all on my 8 pound truck nd make the tire grip much better i recommend them to everyone with a heavier truck..will buy more wen needed thank you CI for such a great product

Fit and performs great in the rear of two of my trucks. Fits the new voodoo klr/m 1.9 and prolines super swamper tsl sx 1.9. I left the outer thin tuning rings out.
