The Lil’ Nova Dual Stage Foam design is for all high-performance applications where grip and traction are essential. Available in a variety of compounds and sizes, the Lil’ Nova Crawler Foams are the perfect addition for your new tires.

These inserts feature a Competition Cut, closed cell inner foam, with a Soft conventional or open cell density outer foam. The closed cell inner foam is super dense, water proof, is not temperature sensitive and is extremely durable. The conventional outer foam is not temperature sensitive, but it is not water proof.
The "Comp Cut" inner has three grooves machined into the area where the outer and inner meet. The machined grooves allow for the outer foam to collapse into them resulting in a much more responsive tire.
The 4.50" is the Middle Size inner in the Lil' Nova Dual Stage foam line and designed for 1.9 tires and heavier rc vehicles.

if you’re on the fence about upgrading your foams, don’t be. CI foams is where it’s at. Once you upgrade to a dual stage foam you’ll wonder why you didn’t do it sooner. I’ve got lil nova’s in my gspeed v3, gspeed 6x6 and axial scx10.3 and couldn’t be happier.

HPI Venture rig. I was running cheap foams saw cut into an eight point star formation and it climbed really good, but it didn't corner and it didn't side hill. Now I'm running the CI foams with the tuning layer removed and it's the best of both worlds. Now all I need is more challenging rock garden.

Fits my 1.9 Axial Falken M/T tires perfectly. Offers great crawling performance. Much better than the soft single stage stock foams.

I never ran anything but stock foams for years until I started to get more into crawling and realized how much of a difference that they make. Did a ton of research, read and watched reviews until I was convinced that these are the foams for me. Tunable for any weight rig and tire type or size that you may be using. I have never tried any other dual stage foams out there so I cant compare but why take a chance stick with the best.

Not much to say. These are the best foams for your crawler. I went with the recommendation of going up one density for the rears and it performs great with these on the front.

I'm using these foams on the front of my class 2 rig, weighing in at ~5lbs 8oz. These are such a dramatic improvement over the competition's two stage foams. The ability to tune with the thin outer ring, the fantastic support, truly excellent performance. Use the foam calculator to help determine the best foams for your use case, and you will be quite pleased. I could not be happier with the performance.

These foams will improve your rig noticeably! The firm middle ring keeps your tires semi stiff to hold pressure on the rocks and the outer allows the treads to flex and grab rock. Awesome product!
