Product Description
Crawler Innovations was the first to combine closed cell and open cell foam into one package. The Lil’ Nova Foams have been around since the beginning and are made from the best compounds available. The Lil’ Nova Dual Stage Foam design is for all high-performance applications where grip and traction are essential. Available in a variety of compounds and sizes, the Lil’ Nova Crawler Foams are the perfect addition for your new tires.

These inserts feature a Competition Cut, closed cell inner foam, with a Soft conventional or open cell density outer foam. The closed cell inner foam is super dense, water proof, is not temperature sensitive and is extremely durable. The conventional outer foam is not temperature sensitive, but it is not water proof.
The "Comp Cut" inner has three grooves machined into the area where the outer and inner meet. The machined grooves allow for the outer foam to collapse into them resulting in a much more responsive tire.
The 4.75" is the tallest inner in the Lil' Nova Dual Stage foam line and designed for tall 1.9 tires and heavier rc vehicles.

I thought my crawler was complete until I added these... now I know it’s compete! These are the front and med on the rear... does not get any better.

If your serious about competing in crawling these are a must, get the comp cut and use your tuning rings, I won't go with out in all my tires.

Can not say anything more about how great these foams work. Night and day from the stock Pit foams that I was running. Will definitely be buying some more in the future.

CI is without question the leader in custom RC tire foam and has been for years. Their Lil Nova line offers all the options I need to keep my 1.9 trail rigs running at their very best. I'm currently using the 4.75 Lil Novas in 1.9 Voodoo KLRs running Gold front and Silver rear rubber compounds with soft outers on both front and rear foams. I like the performance of this combination on my sub 4 lbs trail trucks.
