CWR-5015
Crawler Innovations bolt on electronics tray for the front of the Traxxas TRX4 scale crawler. The tray is cut from 3/16th / 0.1875" / 4.762 mm black delrin for strength and durability. The purpose of the tray is to move the electronics to the most forward location to increase front weight bias for competition RC rock crawling. The front part of the tray can serve as either a small battery mount, or the knock out plate can be removed to allow for a standard size servo winch. The electronics plate is cut to accept a standard Velcro battery strap. The rear of the plate extends towards the transmission along side the motor to allow for esc or receiver mounting. This electronics plate installs by removing the factory servo screws, feed the steering servo lead through the opening in the plate, and then re-install the factory bolts. This product is made in the U.S.A.

Took me a second to figure out how to install, no instructions. Basically just unbolt steering servo leave it in place, I removed body mount cross brace, slide tray over servo pulling the wire through servo hole. The servo should be sandwiched between stock servo spot and new tray. I did have to cut small tab off trx4 sport unassembled kit, which just held the servo wire.

I installed the mount but had to make a slight recess to allow fitment over the servo wire, simple with a sanding drum and dremel. I installed the ESC, BEC and power button for the ESC, with the battery mounted up front. This relocation alone allowed the truck to perform even better with no added weight. The upgrade is worth it. 4 stars only because I had to modify for fitment.

nice looking tray, the opening for the servo could do with enlarging length ways b2 to 3mm or 2 or 3/32's of an inch to allow the servolead to fit through the sservo opening as well other wise a very good poroduct from crawler innovations

Great product, was able to mount my Esc up front next to my motor that had short leads and put a lighting controller/winch controller in front of the steering servo.
