Crawler Innovations is out with another first. Introducing our Heavy Weight single stage closed cell tuning disc's. This new product is cut from the same material as our dense car stand foam. This dense tuning disc provides increased steering response, and adds width to the foam for wider tires. These foams are 100% water proof.
The Deuce's Wild Heavy Weight Tuning Disc set consists of four closed cell foam discs. These discs are designed to add width to your foams inside the tire. Generally it is recommended to install one disc on the outside of all four foams inside the tires. The discs do not fold over under load whether it's high speed, heavy weight, or simply turning. The discs can easily be trimmed with scissors to reduce the O.D. or increase the I.D.
Approximate size: 4.50" O.D. x 2.125" I.D. x .250" Thickness

My best performing 2.2 moa comp car is more that 1 pound heavier than any other 2.2 moa I run. I found, because of the extra weight, after a couple of seasons on the car the foams were wearing out, including the standard trim discs in the front tires. I took all tires off the wheels and rebuilt, replacing the soft front, medium rear foams with medium front and firm rear, in the same size, plus I switched to heavy duty trim discs in the front tires. The new setup resulted as an improvement all around, and should last longer than the original setup.

The discs truly avoid my rig from rolling when side hilling. Fills the tire to look more realistic and avoid the flat look of the tire. Is a must have upgrade if you are looking for performance when crawling.
They are easy to install and easy to cut. I have the stock foams in the front tires with star cut pattern. I cut the disc to fit the diameter of the inner cuts of the star pattern and I'm really happy.

with the ambient heat climbing my voodoo pins (gold) were getting pretty flimsy. With these discs I am able to side hill once more.
